Caitlyn
Caitlyn Lopez -Mc Burnie, now aged 8, graduated from JBSAPAC about 3 years ago. She has just ended Standard One at Gandhi Memorial Vedic APS Primary School.
She has, since she started Primary school, topped her class over the three terms, in Years One and Two in Infants, and was second overall in her respective year groups. She has placed second in Std One over the three terms in her class and is likely the 2nd Overall academic achiever, in her year Group, in Std One.
At age 6, she placed 2nd in the School’s talent Show, performing a midnight robber speech. She was also invited by a midnight robber band to perform and cross the stage during Carnival Monday last year, as well as this year, after they saw a video of her performance. At age 7 earlier this year, she won the School’s Talent Show performing a Pierrot Grenade speech. She has been doing monologues and poems for the school at various functions, since they’ve discovered her knack for the oral arts.
She’s also part of the School’s Indian Classical dance group, as well as a spin off dance group formed by the same dance teacher, called the Dynamic Fusion Dance Group (picture annexed). She’s been active otherwise in school events; earlier this year she picked up two medals in two events at her school’s Sports Day.
